Well...Mike decides to take the joint he was offered. Mike's out of excitement and having fun so he takes a few puffs. Not taking into consideration that he could get high and start doing stupid stuff he might regret later. Or getting stoned which could hurt him, others around him, and importantly his relationship with Liz. Mike only takes a few puffs but since he hadn't had too much eat that day he got high and started to offer Liz pot:
